Nightmare Nights

His name is Anthony, and he's relieved. It's time for preparing next week's schedule for his crew, and he remembers all too well the days when weekly scheduling time was nightmare time.
He'd search furiously for those precious little scraps of paper telling him that Jimmy wanted to take his vacation next week, and that Francis wanted next Friday off to go visit her grandmother. And was it Tuesday night or Thursday night that Robert said he'd be starting that new college course?
And when he finished, he couldn't make heads or tails of what was there. He had a pretty good idea of what his sales were likely to be. But had he scheduled too much or too little labor for the expected volume? He'd been wearing out his calculator and his patience with increasing frequency.
Making Sense of It All

But then Sysdine Work Scheduling had come to the rescue. Now Anthony is able to prepare the schedule without his desk being covered with those little scraps of paper. When someone can't work on a particular day or in a particular time slot, Sysdine tells him, clearly and graphically.
And Sysdine shows him, day by day, how his scheduled labor costs match up with projected sales. Making last-minute changes to the schedule is a snap, too.
And it helps that his employees are able to log in from home to see what their schedules are going to be. That saves lots of time and avoids disruptions.
Keeping Things Straight
Work Scheduling is a part of Sysdine's People Resource Management Workbench. But it's only one of the tools Anthony uses and appreciates in the Workbench. The Daily Checklist is another favorite.

Depending on which day of the month or week it is, the Daily Checklist reminds him of the things around the store which he needs to be certain are taken care of, whether related to maintenance, quality, administration, or other areas.
And Sysdine shows him which employees are scheduled for training, testing, and other People Resource Management activities, the names of each of those activities, and the dates by which they are expected to be completed. With Sysdine's Daily Checklist, important things are far less likely to fall between the cracks.
