The Sysdine Team

Silver Creek Technologies, LLC has announced two actions intended to significantly strengthen the Sysdine sales and customer service team.

Derek J. Thomas has been promoted to National Sales Manager for Sysdine.  Thomas joined the company in 2004 and his most recent assignment was as Region Sales Manager.  He is a graduate of Milligan College, with a BS Degree in Computer Science.

His new responsibilities will include the overseeing of all sales for the Sysdine People Resource Management web-based services.  Thomas has been instrumental in increasing the customer base for Sysdine services to clients through out the United States and Canada.  He works to help clients hire more productive employees, develop them with performance improvement reviews, and to train and test them for improved productivity.  Thomas will be based at the company’s headquarters in Johnson City.

Robbie Somers has joined the Sysdine team as a Senior Product Specialist.  A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, he is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.

Robbie formerly operated his own technology services company.  Prior to that, he worked in management for Sysdine customer and Malcolm Baldrige Award winner Pal’s Sudden Service.  During that time, he gained experience as an end-user of Sysdine.  He, too, will be based at the company’s headquarters in Johnson City.

Robbie’s father, Henry “Hank” Somers, was a member of the team of quality experts who assisted Pal’s in its successful quest for the Baldrige Award.  To date, Pal’s is the only restaurant company ever to have won the Baldrige Award, which is the country’s highest award for management excellence.  Hank later served as an instructor at the Business Excellence Institute, which was founded to teach others the internal Baldrige-based processes and principles used at Pal’s.
